Burren Explore

Burren Explore is the way to go if you want to escape from the stresses and pressures of everyday living. This guided walk on the private lands and mountains here in the heart of the Burren will enhance your wellness, mindfulness and fitness levels while decluttering your head. Anna will take you on a Camino Walk along the Cow Paths and up around the ruins of the convent which is connected to Corcomroe Abbey, just over the hill. On this path, Anna will talk about the Folklore/Bealoideas, placenames/Logainmneacha, Flora,Fauna and stone walls, the traditional farming methods of this farm now in the family’s possession for 8 generations. This walk will take 2 hours and you can enjoy a picnic (locally sourced Nourishing food and goodies)on the limestone. The next walk is a climb on Sliabh Ghairbh (750’) for panoramic views of Galway Bay and all of Sth. Galway and Nth. Clare. Anna will guide you on the easiest Cow Paths of the mountain. This takes up to 3 hours, at your leisure. Prices vary and are tailored to your individual needs. An ideal family day out.
