Seal Rescue Ireland

Seal Rescue Ireland (SRI) is a charity organisation that works around the clock to rescue, rehabilitate and release native seals found sick, injured or orphaned from across the coast of Ireland. As the only seal rescue centre within the Republic of Ireland, we respond to reports nationwide and aim to rehabilitate the pups back to full health so that they can be returned to the wild.

Seal Rescue Ireland's brand new, engaging experience, great for adults and kids aged 2 and up, gives you the unique opportunity to see our adorable seal pups up close and help us get them one step closer to being released back into the wild! Your experience will begin with an educational talk and behind the scenes tour of the hospital where you'll assist our skilled staff in preparing feeds and other enrichment items to keep the seals happy, healthy and mentally stimulated while in our care. You will then be led out to our rehabilitation pools for the chance to feed the seals, watch them dive and compete for fish, and develop the skills they'll need to flourish in the wild!

As a wildlife rescue and conservation charity, animal welfare is of the utmost priority, as is safety. Although visitors will be able to view the seals up close and feed them, these activities do not involve direct contact, and patting/touching the seals is not permitted.
