Spend some time exploring the 47 acres of incredible gardens set in the beautiful Wicklow Mountains. Stroll through Powerscourt Gardens and admire sweeping terraces, statues, fountains and ornamental lakes with hidden hollows, rambling walks and beautiful walled gardens. Walk down the winding pathways of the secret gardens and find Venetian gates and Roman statues. There are hundreds of different types of ornamental plants, colourful flowers and majestic trees in the gardens. Powerscourt House, a beautiful Palladian mansion, was home to Lord Powerscourt and his family for over 350 years. Pull up a chair on the scenic terrace and treat yourself to a snack and coffee in Avoca Café. Climb the stairs to The Design Loft and discover a celebration of Irish craft with works from over 40 designers and artists in the gallery.
