Dún na Sí Amenity and Heritage Park is a beautiful parkland amenity and community tourism initiative located in the countryside of Moate, Co. Westmeath. Dún na Sí celebrates Ireland’s millennia old rural heritage while preserving natural biodiversity for the future. Embark on an immersive journey through the history of farming in Ireland as you travel back in time in the Heritage Park to experience recreations of rural life. Follow the Heritage Trail through the stone monuments of prehistoric farmers, to the medieval ringfort farmstead, up to the farmhouse, fisherman’s cottage, and blacksmith’s forge of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. Learn more about the folklore, mythology and storytelling of the farming communities over hundreds of years, and hear about the fascinating rural traditions that have been preserved and passed down through many generations Encounter traditional farm animals and experience the celebration of Irish culture in the Teach Ceoil, or trace your Westmeath roots in the Genealogy Centre. Experience the great outdoors in the Amenity Park with picnic and playground facilities, biodiverse trails, a turlough (disappearing lake), and the local wildlife of the nature reserve.

Full admission into Dún na Sí Heritage Park, which includes the outdoor heritage trail, rural museum, and the pet farm.
Special needs tickets are €4 and Carer's enter for free.
Generally, tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded. However, some individual attractions, events, and activities may, in certain circumstances, enable us to provide refunds. For example, some event organisers permit refunds if the cancellation occurs a distance out from the event allowing sufficient time for the tickets to be resold. If early-cancellation refunds are permitted, this will be indicated where the event is profiled.
We have 18 points of interest in our park. There are 10 highlighted on the Great Visitor Experiences App however the other 8 are definitely worth a visit. Make sure to check out our Scéal exhibition at map point 13. We hope you enjoy your visit.
