The Hill Knockanuarha (12 O’Clock Hills) is located 5 km (3.1 miles) southeast of Kilkishen village in East Clare, Ireland. The main summit is marked by an Ordnance Survey Trig Point or Triangulation Pillar. The height is 309 metres or 1014 feet above mean sea level. There is another peak about 10 metres lower and 400 metres away to the west south west.

The Car Park is supervised during the weekends and bank holidays. Food may be available on site also at weekends and on bank holidays.
No cancellation policy applies.
  • A big welcome, a spacious car park (that usually gets very busy on nice weekends)
  • 3 hiking options as follows: 
  • Red Arrowhead is 5k or approx 1hr walk
  • Blue Arrowhead is 8k or 2hrs walk
  • Purple is 13k or 3hr walk depending on fitness level
  • Refer to map board in the carpark for more detailed information 
  • Fairyland is a 1.9km family walk in both directions or a round trip of 3.8km to get children into hill walking 
  • Panoramic views, Heritage sites with information boards, Fairyland facility, Kindness rock trail to Fairyland
